About Lily (adopted)
Introducing Lily, a 3 year old, female, Maltese x Poodle. She is a beautiful little girl who is very affectionate and loves lots of pats. She is mainly an inside dog but does like going outside sometimes. She would be best suited to a family who is home the majority of the time or has another quiet little dog for her as a companion. Lily gets on well with other dogs as long as they are not too boisterous and has also met my 14 month old granddaughter with no problems.
Lily was saved from a pound so we are not sure of her previous situation. She came to me dirty and matted and so had to be shaved so that she could be properly bathed and her skin treated. We know she's a Maltese cross and judging by the look of her coat before it was shaved I think she may be a Moodle (Maltese x Poodle). Her coat is now growing back beautifully. Lily has a non-shedding coat so she will need regular combing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful. You'll need to be prepared to commit to this.
Lily is now a happy little girl though can be a little bit fearful which is quickly remedied by lots of pats and cuddles. I am working on this and she is improving each day. Lily just enjoys being with you. She is toilet trained and uses the doggy door. She is learning to play with toys and with my poodle cross. \ She sleeps on a doggy bed or in a soft doggy house next to my bed at night without a sound.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
