Saphron (On Trial 6/4/13)

Saphron is a 10 week old Jack Russell x Staffy puppy. She is healthy, happy, active, and friendly. She is very sweet and gentle and doesn't need to be in the middle of the action all the time. Saphron plays nicely with her brothers and with all of the other foster dogs, (1 large, 1 medium, and 1 tiny). They also have a great time playing with all sorts of toys and balls. They have access to inside and outside during the day and sleep inside in cosy beds at night. Saphron hasn't met any cats yet but is so young she should accept them readily.

Saphron is too young to be left home alone all day so will need another friendly dog, preferably medium size, as a playmate. If there is no other dog in the house then she will need a person home most of the time, such as a retired person or someone who works at home.

We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training, and not to be left outside in a yard all alone. Dogs are social animals and we believe that all dogs needs some time inside the house each day to bond with their families.

The mother of these puppies is a darling Staffy with a lovely nature. She was surrendered to the pound on Christmas Eve so we called her Mary. She gave birth a week later on 6/1/13 to 4 healthy puppies. We don't know who Dad was but judging by the puppies we think Jack Russell.
