About Pauly (On Trial 6/4/13)
Pauly is a 2 year old Shar-Pei cross, medium sized. He is very well trained and can sit, stay and come, and walk well on a leash. He doesn't chew shoes, clothes or plants. He is housetrained.
Pauly is great with children and loves to play with them and isn't rough. He is also likes to play with other dogs and shows no aggression . He has no problem with cats and other small pets. At first he's curious but gets over them quickly.
He has a young and fun personality and enjoys being active and playing with toys. He has lots of energy so will need a family that enjoys being active too. His favourite things to do are playing with people, with toys and balls and his favourite games are fetch and soccer.
He doesn't bark a lot, only when he is hungry or frightened at something. Pauly is used to sleeping outside in a cozy kennel or shed but needs to spend at least some time inside with his family every day. He doesn't fret when left home alone all day. He just sleeps and occupies himself with his toys. When we come home he gives us the most joyous greetings every time! He gets verry excited and shakes his butt with excitement.
Pauly's ideal home would be a family environment with plenty of kids, activities, love and patience.
For more information or to meet Pauly please phone foster carer Karen on 0434 238 590 or email kaz.bof@gmail.com . Pauly is in foster care near Williamtown, NSW (Port Stephens) and is available for adoption interstate.
Pauly's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
