About Sammy
Sammy is a 14 month old boy (DOB December 2011) and never made it as a racer.
He was a Gumtree ad after his breeder discovered he had a leg injury which will prevent him from racing. Lucky for Sammy, the injury does not prevent him from being an ACE pet for one lucky family. His injury is not permanent or painful at all and won’t require ongoing treatment. Sammy is a healthy and very lucky boy!
Sammy is not in great condition at the moment and has a dully and woolly coat he will soon shed. He grew up as an outdoor dog and is not used yet to pet life but he learns super fast.
He is a very tall boy and such a gentle giant. There is no mean bone in this dog and he is super friendly towards people and other dogs. Sammy lives with two small children and a kelpie x boy in foster care. He is possibly cat friendly too but will need to be tested properly.

2) Fill in our adoption inquiry form so we can learn more about you, your family and lifestyle.
3) We match a greyhound to your family and work situation based on the information given in our adoption inquiry
4) Kay's Greys conducts a house check and introduces you to the greyhound
5) If you like the greyhound, he/she goes on a 3- 4 week trial with you
6) After a successful trial period, the greyhound moves in permanently with your family. If it doesn't work out, we take the greyhound back and you can try a different one if you like
