About Ava (On Trial 16/3/13)
Ava is a beautiful 16 week old Bull Arab x. She is a sweet, gentle little girl who brings smiles to everyone around her. Her mellow cuddly personality would be perfect for any household. Ava is great with my energetic staffy and loves to cuddle up to her all the time.
She has been around a few kids and is very gentle with them. I’m not sure how she is with cats as I don’t have any. She gets excited when you get home and may jump up but is learning to not jump up and is doing very well! She would need to go to a home who could give her access to the outdoors during the day and indoors at night.
She is still a puppy who needs a bit more house training however she sits and comes when asked. Ava loves to eat! She loves butcher bones and will chew on one all day. She walks very well on the lead and doesn’t pull at all. When off the lead she comes back to you straight away once you call her name and is learning to swim at the beach alongside her foster sister.
She is the most loving, cuddly puppy who will only bring love and joy into your lives.
For more information or to meet Ava please phone Chloe on 0467 738 329. Chloe is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW 2300 and is available for adoption interstate.
Ava’s $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
