Frankie

We have been fostering Frankie and she has adapted well into our household and to our lifestyle.

Frankie is a very gentle dog with a beautiful temperament. She is friendly and loyal and she is great with kids and people – she gets along with everyone!

When Frankie first came to us she was extremely timid and shy, and she had not been trained, but now she will “sit” and “stay” and “come”. She has learnt to only sit on “her” couch and she has been trained to “down” if she jumps (as she sometimes does because she is so excited to see you when you get home!). Frankie has been easy to train – she really wants to learn and really wants to please you.

Frankie loves to play with other dogs and is always friendly and lovely to them, even when faced with an aggressive dog. We take her on regular visits to the dog park which she loves. She is a dog that will need regular walks or playtime with her forever family.

Frankie is not fussy about bedding, and she is happy to sleep on a mat on the floor. She could be inside or outside dog, but she is so easy to have inside the house that we recommend you bring her in. Frankie LOVES her dog toys (throwing them around, ripping them up, etc and she LOVES chewing big bones (and she doesn’t get annoyed when we take them off her either!). Frankie is toilet trained – she has never made a mess inside our place. 

We are feeding Frankie in the morning and at night, and she gets very excited about her dinner times.

Frankie is a dog in a million and any family wanting a friendly, gentle, easy-going dog be lucky to have her.
