About Jimmy
Jimmy is very adventurous. He has realized how much fun it is to swim in dam with my dogs. I use plastic softdrink bottles to throw in for them to retrieve. He swims in & steals it off the other dogs, brings it on to the bank & drops it. Not interested in it unless one of the other dogs has it.
I'm toilet training him as I have the dogs inside at times including over night. We've had a couple of accidents but he is a fast learner. All my dogs sleep on beds next to my bed so I would like him to hopefully go to a home where he will be an inside dog.
He gets on well with all my dogs - I have a kelpie x, a mastiff x, a jack russell cross & a cattle cross.
He is in a chewing stage so I have to keep shoes etc out of his reach.
He loves his food - I'm feeding him twice a day on a diet of chicken mince cooked with rice & vegetables & a little dry food.
He is a typical staffy & is vocal at times but only when I've had him at work in a cage & am not in the room or when he is having a scratch. When he is with the other dogs he is happy. He loves a snuggle & is getting cheeky now by climbing on my lap for a cuddle.
It's hard for me to try to lead train him as my other dogs run around & distract him but when I've had him at work I've used a harness & he was ok on the lead. I think if he isn't distracted then he will do well.
