About Scarlette
Scarlett is a great little dog once she gets to know you.
She has come from an abusive back ground, so she has had some trust issues with strangers.
She wasnt the best with other dogs, but we have been socialising her with other dogs and she has come such a long way. She now lives happily in foster care with 2 other dogs. She is also great with cats.
She loves to play tug-o-war and chase the ball.
She is great inside and knows to sit on her bed, as inside time is quiet time.
We have taken her to the park and she loved having a run with her foster brothers (dogs).
She is getting use to the lead, she just needs lots of positive reinforcement to tell her that she is doing good and that the lead isnt as scary as she thinks it is (treats work really well for her, she is very food orientated).
We think that her reaction to the lead has something to do wth her abusive past.
Scarlette is going to need time to settle into her new home, with someone that is going to be patient with her.
She has settled really well into foster care and has the ptential to be a really great dog and someone best friend.
