About Mischief (On hold pending adoption on 8/3/13)
Meet Mischief, a 12 month old female kelpie.
She is quite opposite to what her name suggests. She is a very loving and gentle dog who currently lives with 5 other foster brothers and sisters which she just loves to spend her time with.
She usually follows basic commands however puppy instincts kick in and she gets a little bit excited with the added action around her with the other dogs but time alone with basic training she will excel and aim to impress her new mum and/or dad.
She loves her walks and is great on the lead and will run for hours in a day. A playmate of similar breed would be encouraged so they can burn energy together.
Mischief will make a great addition to your family.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training, and not to be left outside in a yard all alone.
For more information or to meet Mischief please phone Chloe or Mat on 0421 669 884. Mischief is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW 2285 and is available for adoption interstate.
Mischief’s $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
