About Levi
Levi is a friendly, independent dog, a cool customer and a smitten smoocher.
He can spend time alone without kicking up a fuss, but loves company.
Levi likes a good yard to run around. He is very good with children and can put up with a bit of rough play. He likes playing games with his foster families kids.
Levi would be a great family pooch.
He is happy to sleep on the couch his own and guard the house.
He enjoys going on car journeys and is happy sitting with his family in a café or beer garden. After all that, he likes a good lie and cuddle on the couch.
He is so good on the lead that his foster carer's two-year-old daughter can walk him to the park unaided.
He loves a walk and, in an off-leash environment, plays well and socialises with other dogs enthusiastically. He loves playing with and chasing balls – sometimes they have to be put away for everyone’s sanity. But he is OK with that.
He comes when his name is called and usually sits on command. He is starting to wait for his dinner, too.
He is very easy to bathe.
He is smart and would respond well to some additional training.
He still mouths like a puppy, but this has improved markedly in just a couple of weeks.
He responds well to correction and discipline and he is keen to learn.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing maggiesrescueadoptions@gmail.com or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
