About Wolfe (On Trial 17/3/13)
Wolfe is an 8 week old, male, Wolfhound X puppy who is a gentle boy who loves cuddles and being on your lap. He enjoys a game of fetch and to run after you. He has a gorgeous and gentle temperament and is great with kids. He knows when it's tea time and gets excited just by hearing the bag of food.
Wolfe is timid when meeting new people but when he gets used to you he is a lot livelier. He is very energetic and will need a playful family to keep him occupied. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training, and not to be left outside in a yard all alone.
Wolfe will need a dedicated family who have the time to spend with him. He doesn't like being left alone so he will need to have either another dog or someone with him during the day.
Wolfe and his 9 siblings (also available for adoption) were born on 29/12/12. We think dad may have been a border collie. He and his littermates will be ready to go to permanent homes after the 16th March but can be viewed now. If you leave a deposit your chosen puppy will be reserved for you.
For more information or to meet Wolfe please phone foster carer Kylie on 0425 373 885. Wolfe is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW 2323 (20 minutes northwest of Newcastle).
Wolfe's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
