Max Adorable Placid boy

Max is a 2 year old Labrador x Shar pei. He is a very loving and affectionate boy who is eager to please and very intelligent. He has been sterilised, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed and flea treated.

Max loves human interaction and will play with female dogs but only on his own terms. He does not like male dogs or cats. He is an excellent jumper so needs a high-fenced home. He knows the basic commands and will retrieve toys when playing. Max loves to talk to you, mouth you and smother you in kisses. He walks well on a lead twice a day but is a work in progress.

Whilst he is a gentle and loving boy he gets jealous, possessive and doesn't like sharing attention with other animals. For this reason he would be best suited to a couple or family with older children and as the only dog. They need to have experience with big dogs and be able to put in the time to continue his training and socialisation.

Max loves his cuddles and human play and will sneak a nap on your bed or couch if you let him. He spends time outside but craves human interaction and does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. He sleeps inside at night.

Max requires a specialised diet as he is part Shar pei. He loves having his face and lips wiped down after eating and drinking as he gets a bit messy. He is improving every day and will make an excellent loyal family member. He has so much to offer and deserves to be showered with the love and trust he needs.
