About Bonnie (Adopted 16/7/13)
Hi I'm Bonnie, and I'm a 10yo mini foxie. If you are looking for a loyal, little companion to be the 1 and only dog in the house, then I'm your girl! I'm an inside dog, I love to snuggle up to you on the lounge or bed, and I always like to wriggle myself under a blanket to go to sleep. I sleep in my foster parent's bed at night, or sometimes in their 12yo or 9yo daughters' beds.

Of course I'm house trained. When I need to go to the toilet I pace the floor, running from you to the door, until you let me out. If you're distracted, I eventually come right up to you, lay my head on you, wag my tail and make a soft little noise in my throat. It works every time on my foster mum!
When my foster mum goes to work, she says goodbye and tells me to be a good girl, so I know to stay in the house and not try and run out the door with her. Other times she goes to the front door and says "Bonnie, you want to come for a drive?" and I get SO EXCITED by these words!! I love going for drives! I'm such a well behaved girl in the car. I also love my toys. When my foster family ask me to get my toy, I go and find it straight away. I love playing tug of war with them, and I make them laugh because I'm having so much fun!
There are 4 cats at my foster home, and I tolerate them now. I was a bit scared of them at first. I would prefer to be your only dog, as I just want to love you and have you all to myself! I'm an excellent guard dog. If anyone opens our gate or knocks on the door, I bark to let my foster family know. I'm scared of toddlers and young children, so I would be best suited to a family with older, quieter kids. My foster human siblings are 9 and 12 years old and I adore them.
I walk beautifully on a lead. I'm easy to bathe, and my short coat just needs a little brush each day to get rid of the loose hairs. I really am such a perfect little companion dog. Won't you come meet me and give me a chance?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
