About Eddie (On trial in new home starting 04/03/13)
2yo Jack Russell Terrier. Eddie is a gorgeous, happy little boy! His favourite thing to do is wrestle and run around with 1 of my other dogs in the backyard. He gets along beautifully with our cats. He sleeps at night with my 2 dogs. He enjoys chasing a ball. When he's in the car he loves to rest his front paws on the window sill and stare at the scenery. He's excellent on the lead. He adores kids and adults alike. Eddie's not entirely house trained yet but he's a smart young dog and we're teaching him. He looks like he could be a purebred Jack Russell.
Eddies perfect forever home needs the following things:
- at least 1 other dog that he can play with.
- he will get lots of attention and affection.
- a yard with excellent fencing.
- a daily walk and play time.
- to be inside with the family when people are home.
- to sleep inside.
In return Eddie be your most adoring, huggable, fun and loyal friend.
For more information or to meet Eddie please phone foster carer Kristy on 02-4937-1660. Eddie is in foster care in Kurri Kurri, NSW (near Cessnock, west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Eddie's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
