Zac

Zac is one of the coolest dogs out. He is the full package- happy, hilarious, smart, friendly and adorable.

Zac isn’t very big, but he is full of personality and the occasional energy burst. Zac LOVES to chase the ball. As soon as he sees it in your hand he won’t leave your side. He is great at chasing the ball, but he makes up his own mind when it comes to bringing it back to you or not. This is great exercise for Zac if you can’t walk him every day. He would be a great little dog to take down to the park.

Zac is obedient and smart. He sits on command and will stay and come. We are going to start teaching him some new tricks, and teach him to calm himself down whenever he sees you, as he is very excitable. He likes to jump and greet you when you arrive home, but he is learning that it is not very polite, even if all he wants do is tell you how happy he is to see you.

Zac loves company. He is great with other dogs, and loves people very much. He would probably best be suited to a home with older kids that can handle his excitable personality. He is friendly towards everyone, and just wants to show how much he loves you. We are not sure how he is with cats. Zac also LOVES water. He loves his trips down to Lake Hume and sprints straight into the water.
Daily exercise would benefit Zac, but if you occasionally cannot walk him he can get as much fun and exercise by chasing the ball. Zac isn’t destructive and is fine at home by himself, but he would get very lonely as he loves people so much. He needs to be somewhere with people for company most of the time.

Zac loves his food. He is also very good to walk on the lead. We are still working on his recall; he will come to you but if he sees somebody he loves to run over and say hello.

Zac would be a best mate to anyone who has as much love to give as he. He is such a special dog, with a huge smile. He would fit so well into a family that spends as much time with him as possible, as he just loves people so very much. He would be a great brother to another dog, and a perfect companion to any human. He is such an amazing dog, and we can’t begin to think why he has been in care for so long. Zac really is an amazing dog, full of love and life. He is one in a million.
