About Speckles (On Trial 25/3/13)
Hi my name is Speckles, I’m a male border collie x staffy, 7 months old.I am a very outgoing active pup, I love to go for regular walks once a day and I love to go to the park/beach once or twice a week to have a run around and meet new friends.
I get along very well with other dogs and children and I love to go up and say “Hello”. I am very well housetrained I hardly bark at all.
I like to sleep indoors and sometimes I like to sleep with my human and snuggle up at the bottom of the bed.
I am trained well I already know how to sit, come, up and down, my absolute favourite thing to do is play fetch with a half deflated ball, I am learning to play tug of war, I love to run around and play with my temporary sisters and brothers, I also enjoy regular belly rubs.
My ideal FOREVER home should have a very active human who will take me for regular walks/runs, a nice sized/ safe backyard with high fences for me to run around and play and a nice comfortable area inside for me to sleep at night.
Speckles was born on the 17 of July 2012. For more information or to meet Speckles please phone Kaitlin on 0439 317 612. Speckles is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Speckle’s $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
