About Honey (On Trial 22/3/13)
Introducing Honey, a 11wk old Female Kelpie x Cattle dog. She is a sweet and extremely affectionate little pup. Cuddles, belly rubs, and scratches behind her ears are just some of her favourite past times. Honey has a healthy appetite, isn't the slightest bit fussy with food, and loves lots of it. A typical pup, Honey lives to play both with her foster family and their dogs and has a natural curiosity to the cats. Being a Kelpie X Cattle dog means that Honey will grow into a medium sized dog so her ideal home would be with a active family and an adequately sized backyard. In return she will provide years of love, loyalty and companionship. Honey has access to both inside and outside and loves to snuggle up in her foster mums bed so a home that can spoil her the same way would be just perfect.
Honey is great with kids and would make the perfect addition to any family. She is in the process of learning basic commands such as sit and come and it won't take her long given how intelligent she is. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Honey please phone foster carer Alison on 0421 963 066 or 02 4967 3270 or email alison.ramoundos@gmail.com . Honey is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW 2304.
Honey's $450 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
