About Keisha (On Trial 23/3/13)
Hello my name is Keisha. I am a 9 week old boxer/mastiff x. I am a very social and loving little girl. I like to play with my foster sisters: a 7 month old mastiff x and a 7 year old Pomeranian. There is also Scotty but he gets a bit cranky with me as I like to jump on him and bite his tail (playfully). I haven’t met a cat but I am sure I can make friends with one.
I would like a home with another dog for company and someone who works from home or has some kids and is at home most of the time. I would do well with some puppy training classes and someone who is dedicated to training me up to be the well behaved princess I know I can be!
I sleep inside in a comfy bed with my toys. I must be allowed inside and be a part of the family. I have access to inside/outside all day (the back door is open for me) then at night I am locked inside. I love to play with my doggy friends and the many toys that I have. I am being toilet trained at the moment.
I can’t wait to meet you and start my life in my new fur-ever home!
For more information or to meet Bella, please phone Robyn on 4972 0804 or 0407 074 143. Keisha is available for adoption interstate and is in foster care in Blacksmiths, NSW. She will be ready to go to her new home after the 23rd February.
Dog Rescue Newcastle, www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au, is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization. Keisha’s adoption fee is $450 which covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea & work treatments, microchipping and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
