About Lou (On Trial 27/2/13)
Lou is a 3yr old Male Terrier X. Lou is one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet. Lou oozes charm and wraps everyone who meets him around his little paws. One of his favourite things to do is play with a ball, that and play with all of the other pets he is staying with. He is a very loyal dog and is happiest when he has company. Lou is a great family dog and will be a devoted shadow as you go about your day. He is fantastic with kids of all ages so if you have little ones you can be rest assured he will be very patient and gentle with them. Lou loves his daily walks especially at the dog beach. He is fine off his lead, doesn’t try to run away and comes back when called.
Being a social loving little dog, Lou is best suited to a family with kids and someone that will be at home with him most of the day. He laps up every bit of affection and attention that he can get and can never ever get enough! Lou is fully house-trained so if you have a doggy door I am sure he would learn how to use it once shown. Cats, kids, horses, dogs – small & big are all no problem to Lou as his doggy philosophy is the “more the merrier”!!
For more information or to meet Lou please phone foster carer Katie on 0407 883 956 or email kkrippen@hotmail.com . Lou is in foster care in Adamstown, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Lou's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
