About Isla
Isla is a lovely older girl who is urgently looking for a forever home. She is a 12 year old pure bred and registered rough collie who is only being rehomed due to her owner being hospitalised. She is currently living in the Perth suburbs.
Isla is a sweet girl, steady and placid, and gets on well with dogs and cats. She hasn't lived with younger kids before so we wouldn't recommend it, but she would be fine with older kids, or no kids at all.
Being older Isla is starting to get a bit hard of hearing and her sight is starting to dim a bit. She still gets around fine though, especially when she knows her environment well, and she absolutely loves going for a walk. She loves to be with people, wandering around or hanging out in the lounge room, and would make a wonderful loving addition to any family.

Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs. All of our dogs have been thoroughly assessed and most have been through our Acacia Prison Animal Training Programme.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Gloria on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Some of our dogs are located in our shelter in Northam so you will need to meet it there. Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
