Tillie was rescued from a rural pound just before he was due to be put to sleep after being surrenderd by her previous owner (he belonged to an unwanted litter of pups).

This beautiful boy has so much energy (like all Kelpies and Shepherds do) and requires a home that has experience with working breed dogs or a family looking for an energetic new family member. He just wants to please you and picks up new commands very quickly.

He loves to play with all different doggy toys- her favourite being tug-o-war with a rope toy! He LOVES to snuggle up on your lap and can have his belly rubbed for hours on end if you will let him! He is a very affectionate and intelligent pup!

Tetley will require obedience training to keep him mentally stimulated and to teach him what is expected of him, this will also help with socialisation which is crucial to a young dogs development. Obedience training provides a great way of getting to know and share the needs of this highly intelligent dog.

He will also need to go to a home that will be able to give him the physical stimulation he requires through daily walks/ runs, a large yard to run around in and/ or another friendly and playful dog to romp around with during the day.

Please note if you are thinking of adopting this beautiful pup please make sure that you are prepared to commit to the amount of time he deserves, as this breed of dog will want to be your constant companion. Take time to learn about the breed, their particular care and training requirements. It is important to ensure that your yard is fully fenced.
