Shelby is a little girl that was caste out of home at christmas time and about to have a little family of her own. Shelby has only just come into care but is already displaying a loving and obedient temperament. Shelby delivered five puppies whilst in the pound and is trying to enjoy her brood under such terrible conditions. Shelby is protective of her puppies but i feel that she will get along fine with a dog. She does chase our cat and until the puppies are weaned we will not know if that is going to be and ongoing issue. It appears that she has not had a collar and lead on but we will work wiht that after her puppies have grown as well. Shellby will be available for adoption in the new year and once her babies have weaned and grown. If you would like to adopt shelby or to assist in her care with sponsorship please contact her carer. As we get to know shelby more her profile will be updated. Shelby is a very loving girl. She is clean inside but was at first unsure about coming in. She jsut stays close by you. She will also warn you of strangers approaching your place but will not hurt anyone or bark incessantly. Shelby would be great for a quiet dog loving family and or even for an older person looking for a companion that would be devoted to them
