About Lemon
Lemon is a very special little girl. She has had to overcome some pretty huge obstacles in her short time, but she has come through them all with flying colours!
Lemon and her brother (who has been adopted) and her sister (Strawberry) were surrendered at just 3 weeks of age because Lemon was born with bent front legs.
Lemon was adopted by one of our mumma cats (and her brother and sister were adopted by another) and it was a rough start for poor Lemon, developing a nasty eye infection early on. She then had to contend with having splints on her tiny little legs for 3 weeks, but she soldiered on and made the best of it.
Now that her legs have been corrected, they are nice and straight, though one of her front feet is slightly 'wonky' but this doesn't affect her and she gets around very well.
Despite all she's been though, Lemon is a sweet, loving, purry little girl who loves to play with her kitty friends and makes the most of her new legs at every opportunity!
Lemon is a lean, muscular girl (all the weightlifting with her splints saw to that!) and is bi-eyed - she has one blue eye and one green eye!
Due to her colouring and her wonky foot, Lemon will require a strictly indoor only home to protect her from the sun and make sure she doesn't hurt herself climbing something she shouldn't!
Lemon would love to go home with one of her kitty friends, or to a home with an existing, friendly kitty, but would be fine as an only cat too.
Lemon is in care in Croydon North.
Medical notes
Lemon was born with bent front legs which have since been corrected. She does have a slightly malformed front foot, but it doesn't give her any problems.
Lemon goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and current in vaccinations.
