Emory

**emory is trying out his new home** emory is a small dog who truly believes he is a big dog. He has a great nature, loves other dogs (especially big dogs) and cats. He does like to think of himself as the boss though, and can be quite dominant, so he will need consistent training and firm discipline as well as lots of tlc. Emory knows some basic obedience, is good on lead, and is very intelligent and responsive. He sits and waits for dinner, and waits when being let through doors if you ask him to. He likes to sit by your feet and occasionally will ask to be on your lap, but he prefers to jump up by himself ("because i'm a grown up"). Emory enjoys going for walks in the park or at the beach and will play with a ball, sometimes even bringing it back. Emory's ideal home would be with a big dog that wants a friend and will come to an agreement with emory as to who will be boss.
