About Rosie (On Trial 7/4/13)
Hi there my name is Rosie! I am a 5 month old Blue Heeler and believe it or not my personality is even sweeter than my looks! I can be shy and quiet at first but once I settle in I am an outgoing bundle of fun and love. I LOVE to run around and I'm very athletic. I think walks are great and I could play fetch all day especially if there are other dogs with me.
I'm very friendly to all people and dogs. I have been getting along with the small older dogs and the puppies of similar size/age I live with. I have especially been enjoying my kelpie X friend who will play and run with me all day.
I'm a smart girl who learns fast. I know sit, down, come and shake, to walk nicely on lead, to sit and wait for dinner and not to jump up. With more training I could be a beautifully behaved dog. I would be the best dog in training classes if you could take me. I would excel at all sorts of dog sports such as agility.
I have a gorgeous soft coat that needs brushing now and then, and a bath after I've been for a swim. I would suit a forever home on a property or with a big yard or at least an active person who has the time and energy to take me for a daily walk or run and to play games with me. If my home had another playful, working type dog to be my friend I would be in heaven!
If you're someone who wants a loving friend to run with and play with, you would find me a joy to have. I'm also very cuddly and will climb into your lap if you let me for hugs.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
