About Baily (On Trial 12/2/13)
Baily is a very loving & affectionate male staffy approximately 1.5-2years old.
He has the curiosity of a puppy and likes to keep near his carers to see what they´re up to. He loves to go for walks and would be great for someone who likes to be outdoors and wants a loyal companion.
Baily is a little bit scared of other dogs. It takes him a couple of minutes to get used to them but after slowly being introduced and warming up to them he comes around quite nicely although he doesn´t respond well to playful dogs and should probably be adopted to a house with no other dogs or with dogs who are very calm and relaxed.
Baily is not that playful yet, but with a little comfort and encouragement he will become as playful as most dogs should be, he does enjoy water from a hose though! Give him some time and he will understand that it´s fun to play.
Baily is always happy and wants to be cuddled preferably all the time. He sleeps inside and stays inside with access to the garden. Baily doesn´t like to be left alone much. He has a tendency to dig holes in the garden to try to escape when he´s left alone so at the beginning Baily will need an owner who can look after him a lot during the days until he is comfortable enough in his new home.
He´s good in cars which makes him perfect for someone who wants to spend a lot of time with their dog and likes to bring the dog everywhere. It is really easy to teach him tricks so if you´re into that he´s so much fun. He´s housetrained and no accidents have occurred inside the house.
Baily has a nice coat which doesn´t need much attention. Just a few of baths and brushes every year and he´s good to go! I don´t know how he is with kids but is great with all grownups he has met and people just fall in love with him. He´s a cutie!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
