About Oscar (On Trial 18/4/13)
Oscar is a2 y/o, tall, Fox Terrier mix. He will melt your heart the instant you meet him. He has so much affection to give, & loves nothing more than to please. Oscar will give you the BIGGEST smile the instant he sees you, every time without fail. He loves playing outside, and enjoys relaxing inside.
Oscar socialises well with our dogs, as well as our neighbours dogs, when we go for walks. He enjoys playing with the local children but then likes to hang out with the adults. He enjoys playing ball & tug-o-war with our dogs, & his favourite game is running off with the toys as soon as they put them down. On the odd occasion Oscar will bark while playing, but other than that he is a quiet little boy. He is also able to occupy himself if the other dogs are resting.
Oscar shows no fear of thunderstorms, & is quite happy to chill out while the lawns are being done. He loves going for a ride in the car, & is very well behaved.
Overall, he is the sweetest little boy that seems to adapt to any situation. You will fall in love with him.
For more information or to meet Oscar please phone foster carer Gillian on 0404 047 477 or Paul on 0418 831 427 or email gillian120472@hotmail.com . Oscar is in foster care in Medowie, NSW (Port Stephens, north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Oscar's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
