About Coco (On Trial 1/3/13)
Hi my name is Coco and you can’t help but love me! I am an 8-week-old Female Kelpie x Cattle dog puppy and I am just waiting to find my loving “Forever” home. I am a very happy and playful pup who loves to interact with other puppies and my foster mum's big dog.
I would love a home with another dog as I am currently in foster care with my brother but would also be ok going to a house by myself as long as I get lots of attention and cuddles. When I have had enough of playing I take myself off to my basket either inside or outside depending on the weather as I am allowed inside my foster mum’s house and would need to be able to do the same in my new For-ever home. My favourite thing to do is play with children, balls and tug along toys and although I haven’t met any cats yet I’m only young and I’m sure I will get to love them too.
Coco is full of love and enjoys the company of people, she loves nothing better than being part of her human family and having cuddles and snuggles, and she is ready to find her forever home now.
Coco is a very pretty puppy with the classic Kelpie colours and markings and is darker in colour than her brother. Coco was one of 8 puppies (4 looked like kelpies and 4 looked like cattle dogs) and was one of the smaller of the pups, but this doesn’t hold her back and she can be very active and cheeky when she feels comfortable and loved around you so will need someone who is prepared to walk and be active with her. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Coco was born on 16/12/2012. She will be ready to go to her permanent home on 14/2/13 but you can meet her name and leave a deposit if you'd like.
For more information or to meet Coco please phone foster carer Siobhan on 02 4952 5406 or 0408 603 156. Coco is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Coco's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
