About Violet & Lavender - Special needs
Violet and Lavender are the most delightful pair of sister, who would dearly love to stay together.
The girls have different personalities, which complement each other very well and they will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky home!
Violet is the mischief maker of the duo! She's a cheeky wee monkey who like to explore and play, but also loves a pat and a cuddle and being with her sister.
Lavender is the quieter of the 2 and is more of a lap cat, who will happily keep you company while you watch Violet's antics!
Both girls were born with deformed front feet. Some of their toes are fused together and this has resulted in them having quite square feet with some non-retractable claws. Despite this, both girls manage to get around like any other kitten and they're not bothered at all by their funny feet!
Because of their special feet, Violet and Lavender will require a strictly indoor only home (or a home with a secure enclosure for outside time) to be sure they won't get into any bother because of their feet. They will also need their claws trimmed more often than normal cats, but they are used to this and don't mind having it done.
There is a possibility that the girls will develop arthritis in their feet at some stage, but then completely normal cats can develop arthritis too.
Apart from nail trims, there is no special treatment required for the girls and we think their funny feet just make them all the more lovable!
If you think Vi and Lav could be the girls for you, please email for an adoption questionnaire!
Violet and Lavender are in care in Croydon.
Medical notes
