About Jackson
Jackson is a gorgeous and friendly boy who loves getting his play on! He's absolutely brilliant with other dogs and hasn't met one he couldn't find the good in - being completely non reactive when they're barking at him or being stand-offish. He would give his left ear for a cuddle with his people… or any people, really! He just adores being given affection and gives it in kind too!
Being an awesomely amazing dog, Jackson knows 'sit,' 'wait,' 'shake,' 'speak,' and 'bed.' He'll do much to please his person but he'll do even more if there's food involved! Sometimes he'll try to do these tricks preemptively, thinking he'll get a treat each time, and just ends up flailing his paws around like a goof. He doesn't mind sharing his toys either, he travels well in the car, and he comes when he's called (so long as he's not having a 'selective hearing' moment most dogs tend to get).
Being the social butterfly that he is, Jackson will need his family to be around more often than not so that he doesn't get too lonely and bored. He's used to living in a home with four other bull breeds so would do well with a canine companion for company. He loves kids too but can be a bit clumsy so very young children aren't recommended.
While in foster care, Jackson has been taught a variety of tricks and he also attends training classes on Sunday, where he continues to be a star. He's very low maintenance, requires a regular amount of exercise, and incredibly friendly. He'll fit in well with most families and is a great ambassador for dogs everywhere.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
