Dorie has been at the Animal Shelter since 26/12/12.

Dearest darling Dorie is a pooch who is quite the talker and oh my, our girl has such a story to tell. Poor princess Dorie arrived at our animal shelter in somewhat of a state with a chronic skin issue that we are treating her for and thankfully she is slowly but surely on the mend. Dorie is a darling dog with a beautiful nature who loves affection and attention as all Malamute’s do. She is a big bouncy girl who is playful and loves to gallop about like a small pony and show off her many talents. She is a big cuddler so will keep her new family warm and snugly in the winter months. Dorie is looking for saviours to rescue her with previous dog experience and someone who has knowledge of the Alaskan Malamute breed. They are very intelligent dogs who require daily exercise, mental stimulation to keep them out of mischief and consistent obedience training to let them know who is top dog as they can be dominant if not appropriately trained. Dorie has a very loving nature so will fit herself comfortably into most suitable homes. She will require a medium to large sized yard to call her kingdom and daily exercise to keep her fit and happy. Dorie is a very special girl who is looking for a better life and someone to love her for all of her days. She hopes and crosses her big snow dog paws that her days will be brighter super soon as shelter life is challenging for a free spirit like Dorie.
