About Marley (On Trial in a new home 12/2/13)
Marley is a cattle dog x kelpie puppy, 10 weeks old. He is a happy little boy and loves all the children, adults, dogs and cats that he has met. I have 2 medium sized dogs and 2 cats and Marley is friends with all of them. He is very cleaver and eager to please so he will be lots of fun to train. He is already housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go outside to the toilet.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training, and not to be left outside in a yard all alone. If you work full time Marley will need another dog to keep him company. He will need to have some time indoors each day to bond with his family.
Marley has a sister Roxy who is also available for adoption. They were born on 17/11/12.
For more information or to meet Marley please phone foster carer Carmen on 0423 806 454 or email buffy162001@hotmail.com . Marley is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (near Charlestown, south of Newcastle).
Marley's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
