About Gypsy (On Trial 2/2/13)
Gypsy is a sweet and affectionate 3 year old Maltese who adores absolutely everybody. Her favourite things in life are playing with her 2 and 4 legged friends, looking cute while shaking hands, and getting as many smiles and pats from the people around her that she can.
This little Poppet, as she is known, is an inside dog. She loves being inside and close to her friends, however, a short trip outside to appease her curiosity and to have a toilet stop is needed throughout the day. She needs to sleep inside and is housetrained, of course.
Gypsy is pretty much a no fuss dog. She looks cute and adorable and is very easy to get along with. A daily walk (no marathon please), a regular grooming and trip to the hair dressers is all she needs. Gypsy has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her healthy and beautiful.
She loves of everybody, including children, so she is suitable to many different households. This little girl puts a smile on everybody’s face and deserves to find herself a loving and caring family.
For more information or to meet Gypsy please phone foster carers Jason or Karen on 02-4947-7703 or 0432 672 356. Gypsy is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Gypsy's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
