About Rosie
I’m a very sweet, quiet, calm and elegant silver-grey lady looking for a special person. I’m affectionate to people I know I can trust and absolutely adore having my face and head gently stroked while sitting on someone’s lap. My fur is as soft as velvet.
Life hasn’t been all smooth sailing for me. I used to live in the country and went missing for a couple of weeks. I ended up going into a cat trap for the food. When my family was tracked down, they wouldn’t collect me from the pound. Hmmph. I’m grateful to now be safe in foster care in Melbourne and am on the lookout for someone who deserves me.
I also only have one gorgeous golden eye - who needs two?! Having one eye doesn’t interfere with my life and certainly doesn’t stop me from playing with my fave toy – Da Bird.
My foster carer says I look a lot like the cat in the Dine ads. I’m so elegant that they think I have a touch of royalty in me, maybe Russian Blue. I’d love to be an adored princess in a quiet, peaceful home. I’ve lived with two small, well mannered dogs and was fine with them. I find being around other cats stressful - I never know whether they're going to be nice or nasty. Being a gentle, refined lady, I have absolutely no interest in picking a fight or trying to be top cat. I get on OK with very timid cats who leave me alone and aren't in my face all the time.
I love sleeping with my foster carer, vegging out on the sofa and hanging out, but I’m also happy having ‘alone time’. I’m seeking a cat savvy person who wants to adore a feline friend and give a better life to someone who’s had it tough. I really deserve my own loving family.
Medical notes
Rosie has one eye.
