About Mardi
Great with other dogs, Great with Kids, well behaved Puppy...what more could you ask for?!
Mardi is a 7-8 month old Merle Great Dane x girl. Currently 23 kilos.
If you're looking for a dog with a lovely nature but in a smaller size than a purebred Great Dane (she is likely crossed with a medium-large breed) Mardi could be the right dog for you.
Update from Mardi's Foster Carer:
Mardi is learning manners and basic commands like sit, down and wait very quickly. She has shown no aggression what so ever over food or otherwise.
Mardi is comfortable with all dogs, adults and children she has met so far; she is a social butterfly and loves all the interaction! Mardi is a an energetic and strong willed pup although has a beautiful nature that is shining through more and more everyday as her training continues.
Mardi has captured the attention of the neighbourhood with her big smile and fun loving demeanour. Neighbours have been popping in and saying hello on their way past every day.
Mardi has behaved very well in all manner of situations, she hasn’t been a destructive pup, and she doesn’t dig or chew up things that aren’t her toys. She really enjoys the company of our other dogs and plays well with them.
In her foster home she lives with a rabbit, 4 chooks and two giant dogs as well as a 3 year old toddler and despite her energetic nature she is always well behaved and listens to the toddler’s commands.
Mardi eats very well and loves her food!! She has learned to play fetch, returning with the toy and dropping it on command. Mardi walks on a lead easily and has done since her first walk. She aims to please!
Mardi is a breeze to train, she is just so smart and a delight to have around. Whoever adopts this darling girl will be very lucky indeed!
