About Cody (On Trial 18/2/13)
Cody is a cattle dog/kelpie mix puppy, 7 weeks old. He loves all the things puppies love: playing and wrestling with his brother, eating and chewing on his bones and toys, and snuggling with anyone who will pick him up. I’m sure he’d enjoy the company of another dog. But if that is not possible, then someone who has lots of time to train him and energy to walk him, as he is going to be a very active and intelligent boy
Cody sleeps all night in the garage in a large pen with his brother, beds, and toys. He doesn't make a noise until morning when he gets hungry. He is wonderful with children and fine with cats.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Puppies are a big commitment. They need plenty of affection, exercise, socialisation and training, and cannot to be left outside in a yard alone all day.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
