About Wicket (On Trial 6/1/13)
This stunning girl is Wicket, a 6 to 9 month old, kelpie x puppy. She is very affectionate and playful and is very good with children and people of all ages. She also plays well with other dogs. She enjoys swimming, so she'd be an ideal dog to take to the beach, river, or lake. She has no problems with large crowds. We had a party with 39 guests, including 18 children, and she was commended on her behaviour that day by many.
Wicket loves to play games including fetch and catch-me-if-you-can. If you can't play she will amuse herself by jumping around like a gazelle flinging her beloved rope into the air(very cute to watch)!
She is a gorgeous young girl, brimming with health and vitality. She has bright, alert eyes, and a glossy black coat.
Wicket is a clever girl and can now sit on command and stay at times, though we are still working on that one. She is smart and a very fast learner. Wicket is very loving and would love a family to live and play with. She will not disappoint.
For more information or to meet Wicket please phone foster carer Sue on 02-4954-2234 or 0415-367-144 or email docman4@bigpond.com . Wicket is in foster care near Kurri Kurri, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Wicket's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
