About Bronx
Bronx was rescued by Friends of the Pound when he was returned to the pound at 8 months old with no training after being adopted as a puppy. He had lived with a young family who had no idea what was required of big puppy ownership. The pound keeper adopted his brother as a pup and he is an extremely well behaved and trained dog. We have Bronx in foster care with an elderly couple who really can't cater for his exercise needs. They have a small yard and lead walk him a short distance daily, but he would love a good run and home with a bit of space, or lots of exercise. He has the most loving nature and responds so well to training and any affection. People say he hasn't got a nasty bone in his body. Be great with an active family with older children, or anyone who can give him the love and continued training he needs. He seems to be good with other dogs when he meets them on his walks and greets everyone with affection. We desperately need to find him a home, he can be taken for a trial period. Failing this we would love someone in the Tweed area to foster him for us.. Because we are close to the NSW/Qld border our animals can go to either state. We require prospective owners to meet a dog and we do not fly or transport animals interstate.
