About Turbo (On Trial 22/2/13)
Turbo is an 18 month old Border Collie x Kelpie. He rarely barks and loves the company of our family and other two dogs and is happy to follow you around all day. He also loves toys and ball games, especially soccer!
Turbo is an active young dog so he needs a good sized yard or someone who will commit to taking him for at least one walk or run every day. He is a mixture of two clever breeds so he is very smart. All he needs now is someone who has the time to train him. He would do great at dog training classes and respond very well to reward based training. We are teaching Turbo to sit and drop when asked, and not to jump up to show his affection. Turbo is good with other dogs however when he becomes over excited he tends to get nippy with them. He is fine with cats until they run and then he'll chase them of course. He really loves our 13 year old daughter, so he'd be a wonderful dog for any active family.
Turbo is such a lovely boy and he will be someone's loyal and very best friend. For more information or to meet Turbo please phone Caroline 02-4988-6401 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com . Turbo is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Turbo's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
