Ruffles

Hi my name is Ruffles… I am not really sure how I ended up dumped at a high kill shelter but I am very lucky to have been given another chance by Lucky Little Paws.

Word has it that I was only hours away from being killed and many people had to work hard to rescue me and get me safely here.

I lived with my previous parents as an only child for almost five years and tried my hardest to always be a good boy. I showered them with love, greeted them eagerly when they arrived home, always used my litter box and didn’t ruin their furniture. I was happy to just fit into their life watching TV, snuggling in bed or just following them around.

Unfortunately, one day they decided they no longer wanted a cat and my world was turned upside down.

I have become very depressed and stressed here at the shelter, as I am used to being an only cat and I miss not having my own family to love. I love giving attention as much as receiving it from people and am finding it overwhelming having to share.

I am often told by the shelter volunteers what a handsome cat I am. I have a medium length brown and white fluffy coat and weekly brush helps me look my best. I am still a young cat but my crazy kitten days are over, now days I like to take it easy and spend time with you.

I am a purr machine and will bring a lifetime of love to your life. I'm patiently waiting to find my purrfect match but am really hoping that you come along soon as shelter life isn’t really for me.

Please remember I may live for over 15 years and adopting me is a long term commitment.
