About Blaze (On Trial 10/5/13)
Say hello to Blaze! Blaze is a 5 month old Staffy x pup who is a friendly little guy that just loves people and animals. He would equally suit a young family or an older active person. He is good with young children, other dogs, cats and even rabbits! Nothing fazes this little man.
Blaze is happy to spend the day quietly at your feet or going for a long walk. He walks well on the lead. He is happy to amuse himself indoors with his toys as long as you are close by. He also plays nicely in the yard with his foster brother and sister and will share his toys with them.
Blaze is also working on his basic obedience. He sits well and knows what "no" and "get off" mean and is learning to stay, shake hands and wait for his food. Toilet training is going well and he lets us know when he needs to go out. He is food motivated and loves raw bones. Beef seems upset his tummy, but he has no problems with anything else.
Blaze loves company and does not like to be alone, so he will need a family where someone is home most of the time and he would be happiest with a playmate. Blaze loves to explore so you will need high colourbond fences as he can climb.
For more information or to meet Blaze please phone foster carer Cheryl on 0410 576 246 or email puppyfromchez@gmail.com. Blaze is in foster care in Tingira Heights, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Blaze's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
