About TR
TR (named after owners Terry/Ray). Both ill and unable to care for TR. In imminent danger of euthanasia, we thought he was worth saving and trying to rehome. We had him desexed and put him in a foster home. He is absolutely beautiful. Has all the good traits that Staffies are known for and none of the negative ones. No trouble at all. foster carer says he is the lowest maintenance dog she has ever met. Not a barker, whinger, not clingy, very loving, couple of times around the block and he s happy. Does his own thing and ignores other dogs. Doesn't pull on the lead. He is not an escape artist, doesn't even try. He is a boofy, happy fellow and deserves the best possible home. He lived with his son, Sonny for 6 years who is also in foster care with us, but seems quite happy to be the only dog. Does not seek out doggy company, but would be okay if there was one in residence. Whatever would suit this chap. Because we are close to the NSW/Qld border our animals can go to either state. We require prospective owners to meet a dog and we do not fly or transport animals interstate.
Medical notes
TR needs one not too expensive tablet a day so control seizures. This is perfectly under control. Low dosage and otherwise he is in really good conditon. Don't let that put you off, the vet says he is fine and the tablets have been controlling seizures perfectly. We have just had him completely checked and he has no problems. The tablets cost 84 cents a day, which is half the cost of a newspaper!
