About Molly (On Trial 21/1/13)
Hi my name is Molly and I hope you won't be able to resist me! I am a 4 1/2 yr old Maltese x Shih tzu x and I am just waiting to find my loving “Forever” home. I love playing with my Foster mum’s other dogs as they are only small like me and my brother Scamp (also up for adoption). I am unsettle around large dogs.
I would love a home with children to play with but also like the idea of just having big people as my Owners. I am a quiet dog who loves to be around people. When I’m not playing with the other dogs I love to find a quiet spot by myself to sleep. My favourite things to do are playing, going for walks or drives in the car, and especially jumping up on your lap for a cuddle.
I am a thinker and observer and like to watch before I jump into any situation. When I feel safe I will have a go at anything. Molly is smaller and quieter than Scamp but once she feels comfortable she can be very active and cheeky.
------------------
Molly has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when people are home and to sleep inside.
Molly is full of love and enjoys the company of people. She wants nothing more than to part of a loving human family where she will have lots of cuddles and snuggles. She is ready to go to her permanent home now.
If you are considering getting 2 dogs she has a good friend Scamp and they make a fine pair. But Molly could also go to a new home on her own as long as she would get plenty of love and attention.
For more information or to meet Molly please phone foster carer Chris on 02 4957 1626 or 0438 671 626. Molly is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Molly's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
