About Scamp (On hold - deposit taken)
Hi my name is Scamp and that’s exactly what I am! I am a 4 yr old Maltese x Shih tzu and I am just waiting to find my loving “Forever” home. I love playing with my Foster mum’s other dogs as they are only small like me and my sister Molly (also up for adoption). I can't relax around large dogs.
I would love a home with children to play with but also like the idea of just having big people as my Owners. I am an active dog who loves to play in the backyard and chase the other dogs around. My favourite thing to do is play and go for walks or drives in the car and I love nothing better than jumping up on your lap for a cuddle
I am more adventurous than my sister Molly. As long as I feel safe I will have a go at anything.
------------------
Scamp has a lovely personality. He is white with Caramel tips to his ears and face. He is a little bigger than Molly. He has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when people are home and to sleep inside.
Scamp is full of love and enjoys the company of people. He wants nothing more than to part of a loving human family where he will have lots of cuddles and snuggles. He is ready to find his permanent home now. If you are considering getting 2 dogs he has a good friend Molly and they make a fine pair. But Scamp could also go to a new home on his own as long as he would get plenty of attention.
For more information or to meet Scamp please phone foster carer Chris on 02 4957 1626 or 0438 671 626. Scamp is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Scamp's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
