About Fletch (On Trial 24/1/13)
Fletch is a gorgeous, 18 month old, male, Border Collie x Kelpie. He loves kids and enjoys play time with anyone who will toss a ball for him. He gets on with other dogs and is learning how to play with them. He is really enjoying the other dogs here. He loves his ball and teddy bear! He can occupy himself with chew toys.
Fletch is ok on a lead but still needs more training as he pulls a little bit. He knows a few commands but will need continued training as he is still young and learning. He will need a good size yard with high fences. He will need a good walk or run every day plus play time with his humans. He loves to play fetch so that's one way you can have a great time with him and tire him out. Fletch would be best in a home where he will have another active dog to keep him company and to play with, especially if his family aren't home alot.
If you can give this gorgeous man a forever home please call Kylie on 0425 373 885 anytime. Fletch is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW 2323, (15 minutes northwest of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Fletch's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
