About Delilah (On Trial 15/1/13)
Hi there, im Delilah! I am a 4 year old Staffy x. I love the company of other dogs, including my foster brother. I don’t mind cats either, I just want to \ play with them. I am good around children. My foster mum is very happy with me as I don't dig holes, or pull the washing off the line.
I have energy, and I would love my adoptive family to either have other dogs to play with, active children, or an owner who would take me fun places with them. I am happy to be a mostly outside dog but would really appreciate a little time inside most days. As long as I can get lots of cuddles from you.
I am well trained, and I will listen to you. I learn commands easily. I LOVE going for walks and I am good on the lead. I have no problem being touched and patted whilst I am eating, and I'm not sneaky like my foster brother. I wont try to take his food, like he tries to take mine. It doesn’t bother me if he does though. We are good mates and I can share.
So if you are looking for a nicely behaved, friendly, smart, new best friend, then please come and visit me. I'd love a home of my own.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
