About Frisky (On Trial 24/1/13)
Frisky is an 8-12 week old, male, Bullmastiff x puppy who is very playful and energetic. He loves to run and play tug of war with the kids. He enjoys cuddles and attention with the occasional belly rubs. He gets along well with other dogs and is learning how to have fun with children of different ages. He loves to be around people and will follow you everywhere.
Frisky is still a puppy and therefore will need further training and lots of chew toys. He is slowly learning to walk on the lead and is learning a few commands. He will require a family with lots of love and an active lifestyle and a home with high fences and good sized backyard.
Frisky will be available to go to him permanent from the 25th January 2013 when he is 10-12 weeks old. He is desexed and vaccinated and is due for a follow up vaccination in mid February.
For more information or to meet Frisky please phone foster carer Kylie on 0425373885. Frisky is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Frisky's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Healthy puppy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
