About Amy
8 year old greyhound girl Amy is a real sweetheart and a very small girl with quite a distinctive coat colour and striking black outlined ’Cleopatra’ eyes.
Amy joined Kay’s Greys from Sydney and currently lives in foster care with greyhound boy Jack in Melbourne. She is severely underweight after battling a nasty tummy bug but nonetheless is a happy and cheeky girl. And we are sure she will put on weight in no time.
Little Amy is a social girl and loves human as well as canine company. She plays nicely with foster brother Jack but is definitely the bossy one in their relationship.
Amy also is quite independent and LOVES sleeping on a comfy couch.
When she went into her foster home for the first time, she had a quick sniff around and then placed herself on to the couch with both feet up in the air!

2) Fill in our adoption inquiry form so we can learn more about you, your family and lifestyle.
3) We match a greyhound to your family and work situation based on the information given in our adoption inquiry
4) Kay's Greys conducts a house check and introduces you to the greyhound
5) If you like the greyhound, he/she goes on a 3- 4 week trial with you
6) After a successful trial period, the greyhound moves in permanently with your family. If it doesn't work out, we take the greyhound back and you can try a different one if you like
