About Ally
Ally and her sister Annie were rescued from their trainer in Cranbourne who had no use for the girls. At only 18 months old, both greyhounds were weeded out by the racing industry already because they had it not in them to chase a lure around the track. While Annie does not chase at all, Ally is a mad chaser but not fast enough for a career in racing.
When I took Ally from her trainer’s property she was so fascinated by all the things around her and would not sit down the entire 1 hour drive to her new foster home.
She looked at all the cars, people, streets with big eyes and only rest occasionally by putting her head on my shoulder for a pat.
Ally is a sweet and affectionate greyhound girl and just a joy to have around the house. She is cheeky and playful just like any puppy.
Ally is very small for a greyhound and lives with a very large greyhound boy Snoopy in foster care but she definitely wears the pants in their relationship. She loves playing with her ‘big brother’ and having Snoopy in her life definitely helped our little girl grow her confidence.
Her ideal home appreciates that Ally needs to continue her pet training, i.e. exposure to the wide world out there and integration into family life. She is such a gem and will make her new family very happy.
