Tumblr

Tumblr is a very happy, excitable boy who came to us with absolutely no training whatsoever – and this was clearly the reason his family gave up on him. However, in just a few days, he was already learning the basics, and (although he can be distracted easily) is very responsive.

Tumblr’s favourite thing in the world is to run… often falling over himself in the process. He’s not the most co-ordinated of dogs, his legs often moving faster than his brain, but he is hilarious regardless! This boy definitely needs an active family who can give him all the physical and mental stimulation he craves.

Crate trained on his first day, he loves his little den, but when there’s action going on, he much prefers to be out and mingling. But he does sleep in his crate overnight with zero fuss or noise. He’s a very social dog but still needs to learn manners… something he was never taught before and is only now learning about.

At this stage, because of his excitable nature and him being so clumsy, we won’t be recommended families with young children. While Tumblr has always been mindful around kids (more so than adults), he often gets himself in a wiggle-frenzy and an accident could easily happen. But whoever he goes to, he will no doubt give them something to smile about every day, and the kisses and cuddles will never stop coming.
